Dates to Remember


FYI ... the following due dates for various lodgement of documents and submissions, also links to details of the pre-annual and annual general meetings as they become available -

01 Jul:
Submission to Secretary - Notice of Motion to Amend Statement of Purposes, Corporate Rules, By-Laws and/or Open Competition Rules at the AGM [By-Law 17 and Part IV Section 22 of the Act].

Mid-Late Jul:
Pre-Annual Delegates' Meeting
Submission to Secretary - Officials' Annual Reports for presentation
to the AGM.

31 Jul:
Lodgement with Secretary - Application for Affiliation and Teams Registration [By-Law 7].

Late Jul - Early Aug:
Submission to the Secretary not less than twenty-one (21) days before the AGM - Agenda items for inclusion
under Special Business at the AGM [Corporate Rules 11.7].

Early-Mid Aug:
Lodgement with Secretary not less than seven (7) days before the AGM - Written Nomination of Candidate for position of office-bearer, ordinary committee of management member and/or constituted sub-committee member [Corporate Rule 25].

Mid-Late Aug:
Lodgement with Secretary prior to date of the AGM - Registration of Officials and Contact Details [By-Law 6.7].

Mid-Late Aug:
Annual General Meeting

01 Oct:
Lodgement with Secretary - Professional
Player Declaration [Competition Rule 10(a)(ii)]. All clubs must lodge this declaration whether or not a professional player is employed.

Early Oct:
Lodgement with Registrar by 8pm Thursday prior to first match - Granted Clearance for any player requiring it to play in round 1 [Competition Rule 10(c), take particular note of 10(c)(ii)].

Player registrations to be submitted in accordance with VCR and online scorecard requirements and no later than stipulated under Competition rule 10. Also note that meeting the requirements of rule 10(a)(i) but not those of the online scorecard submission requirements will result in penalties relating to scorecard submission.

30 Oct:
Deadline for paying Affiliation Fee and half of the team registration fees [By-Law 8].

31 Jan:
Deadline for paying the balance of team registration fees [By-Law 8].


Please note that penalties will be applied to clubs for late receipt of required lodgements.

Also that "no members of a club owing money to the Association may vote at an Annual General Meeting or stand for election" [By-Law 13.3]
